The timeless Dr. Seuss characters are at it again in zany Seussical. Everyone will be enchanted when Seuss' beloved characters spring to life in this energetic, heart-warming family-friendly musical featuring classics such as Horton Hears a Who, Horton Hatches the Egg, Gertrude McFuzz, Green Eggs and Ham and of course, The Cat in the Hat!  And all that music!  Dr. Seuss' most colorful characters come tumbling right out of the books and up onto the stage in this joyful gumbo of musical styles, ranging from Latin to pop, swing to gospel, and R&B to funk! Let your toes tap, your fingers snap, and your imagination run wild!

In the tradition of last year’s Disney’s High School Musical, the Forestburgh Playhouse presents a full-scale production guaranteed to delight your children, and make adults feel like a kid all over again. These classic, colorful tales are seamlessly brought together by a professional cast of 24 led by Jojo, a young child and “thinker of strange and wonderful thinks”!   Truly the perfect show for everyone from 3 to 103, once you see it, you’ll understand why Seussical is the most produced musical in the United States!

will be presented every Thursday and Saturday at 11 AM starting Thursday, July 1st and ending Saturday, August 14th, 2010.  Additional shows may be added, if demand warrants. Tickets are just $12.00 for children 12 and under, $15.00 for teens, and $20.00 for adults - an affordable  way to experience live professional theatre.  Even though Seussical  performances have open seating, reservations are strongly suggested.

Seussical Forestburgh FANS

This is the only show we will be presenting to our younger audiences this summer, but we suspect that many of our younger patrons will want to experience the magic again and again.  The  Forestburgh Playhouse wants to help by making subsequent visits to the show more affordable.  Once a child or teen sees the show the first time,  he or she becomes a Seussical FFAN and tickets for any repeat visits will be offered for the group rate - that's $10 for children 12 and under or $12 for teens.  Sweet!
